Overall a wonderful delight. The service was great, friendly and attentive. She automatically gave us two spoons to share. Food was great. Love the pickles n the calamari and all the pair sauce for the oysters. We went for happy hour and order other food as well. Everything was made perfectly. I had a great time and experience.

Amazingly fresh oysters and great price during Happy Hours! The first time I actually enjoyed the oysters without much sand in it and also no fishy smell! Our waitress Saoirse was welcoming and attentive! She came to the table every time we needed something without us even trying to get her attention. Overall a very nice place to visit! Arrived towards the end of happy hour for their 1.50 oysters. We started with fifteen, and they were very accommodating when we ordered additional right before 6pm (when happy hour ends). Oysters were fresh and delicious. Ordered their calamari which were perfectly seasoned, but were on the greasy side and could've been crispier. The mussels were very good, we loved the curry broth (so much that we asked for a container to take the leftovers home). Shrimp and scallop pasta was great as well - the dish looked small at first but there were lots of seafood and the overall portion size was just right. Service is very friendly and knowledgeable, and welcoming atmosphere.
Great food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. My partner and I were particularly pleased & surprised when the bar staff created a mocktail on the fly for us! Definitely recommend!
Excellent options and there were some gluten-friendly dishes to try here! Loved the calamari and lobster appetizer. The beef tostada was next level and full of flavour! Although we didn’t have oysters there seemed to be many people ordering them so they are probably quite good! Worth a try if you are in the area.
We had a delayed flight coming in and wasn't sure if we'd be able to get a decent dinner. We checked into the Marriott across from here and headed over right before the kitchen closed. The staff showed some compassion and allowed us to order quickly before the kitchen closed for the evening. Great quality seafood and amazing service. Some Asian inspired and seasoned tasty plates. Cold beer and a variety of cocktails to choose from. The location is fantastic and convenient as well. Would definitely come back especially for happy hour oysters.
We just had our dinner here last night as we say goodbye to Halifax. And all I can say is AHMAZZZINNGGG!!! We had the happy hour oyster and after that a proper dinner. We had lobster, nussles, beef tacos, clam chowder and etc! Not only the food was fresh, but the server is attentive and nice! I forgot to ask her name but she is the one with curly hair, nice skin and tall. If ever you guys are in downtown Halifax or near the waterfront, this is the place to go. We spent same when we went to the nearby Waterfront Warehouse and I'd say we got more bang for our buck at Shuck's! We will be back!
